Job summary

The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association in Grove City, OH, is seeking a Racing Administrator to support harness racing programs, nominations, mare registrations, and awards. You will manage data, coordinate programs, and collaborate with tracks, breeders, and fair boards to grow the sport.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong project coordination skills, proficiency with MS Office and WordPress, and excellent communication to engage stakeholders and members across Ohio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience coordinating projects with efficiency and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and database tools.
• Familiar with harness racing terminology and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and PM abilities.

Responsibilities

• Import, administer, and extract information from the OHHA database.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of program entries; perform audits.
• Respond to member and participant inquiries professionally.
• Serve as primary Fair contact for grant programs and payments to Ohio racing fairs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote OHHA initiatives.
• Serve as Web and Database Lead.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
