Job summary

Behavioral Health System Baltimore, Inc. (BHSB) is seeking a Training Coordinator to develop resources, provide training and technical assistance to the Bmore POWER outreach team and partner organizations.

The role emphasizes facilitating trainings, coordinating logistics, and building relationships with harm reduction stakeholders in Baltimore City. The position reports to the Director of Harm Reduction and is full time in a hybrid Baltimore, MD environment, with emphasis on meeting training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health-related discipline or related field; alternatives may substitute with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum two years of harm reduction experience or related public health work; training facilitation and TA experience preferred.
• Proficient using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video conferencing tools; strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized training and support to outreach team members and staff at other organizations.
• Facilitate live training sessions in-person and virtually, and lead meetings as required.
• Develop training curricula and resources for dissemination to staff and partner organizations.
• Coordinate logistics for training delivery, both in-person and virtual, including live or recorded sessions.
• Develop harm reduction informational materials and maintain online presence for training work.
• Collaborate with Baltimore City Health Department and other stakeholders to advance harm reduction strategies.
