Qualifications

Responsibilities

License/Certification Requirements: Valid MN Driver's License, current insurance or be insurable is required

Summary: Responsible for managing and stocking harm reduction vending machines, maintaining inventory, trouble shooting and ensuring supplies are consistently accessible to the community. Will also assist with client transportation, ensuring individuals can access appointments and essential services.

Education Requirements and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D).
• Vending Machine Software Training: Must be completed within 30 days of employment.
• CPR and NARCAN Certified or willing to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Peer Recovery Support Certified or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• MN STS Driver's Certificate or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Additional Qualifications and Skills:

• Good oral and written communication skills and customer service skills.
• Lived experience with substance use and/or recovery.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record daily schedule of runs, miles, location, time.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment functionally and appearance.
• Communicate any concerns of vehicle or equipment performance to supervisor.
• Stock and maintain harm reduction vending machines with approved supplies.
• Monitor machine usage and ensure machines remain clean, functional, and accessible.
• Learn and operate vending machine software to track inventory and usage data.
• Report any maintenance or operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all harm reduction supplies and program materials.
• Monitor stock levels and proactively request replenishment to avoid shortage.
• Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use, homelessness, or mental health challenges.
• Transport clients to and from medical, behavioral health, and other essential appointments as needed.
• Ensure safe, respectful, and confidential transport of all clients.
• Maintain communication with program staff regarding schedules and client needs.
• Complete required documentation related to services provided, inventory tracking, and transportation logs.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Knowledge of harm reduction on principles and practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with inventory tracking.
• Attend and or conduct all mandatory meetings and trainings as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
• Travel in and out of the state on a possibly regular basis.
• Understanding and sensitivity to Native American culture.
• Adhere to policies governing staff conduct.
