Job summary

Harley-Davidson of Asheville is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead the parts department and drive sales in a high-volume dealership.

You will supervise and develop a team of parts consultants, coordinate with service and sales, and analyze data to forecast inventory needs while maintaining showroom and stockroom organization.

Qualifications

• Management experience in a motorcycle or automotive dealership.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, especially late models.
• Expertise with a dealer management system; Talon experience preferred and must be able to type.

• Manage 2-3 parts consultants and 1 parts-to-service team member.
• Supervise and train parts team to ensure exceptional customer service, product knowledge and reach sales goals.
• Coordinate with service and sales departments to support parts needs.
• Analyze sales data and trends to forecast inventory requirements.
• Maintain an organized parts department (showroom and stock room).
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts sales.
• Work with marketing to create sales and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.

With a facility spanning over 50,000 square feet on 8 acres our parts department has plenty of room. Our service department stays busy and our sales department is focused on selling new motorcycles; both provide an excellent outlet for parts and accessory sales.

Our Parts Manager will have the highest expectations of themselves and Parts team.

Daily expectations:
