Job summary

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer in Dayton to own lab validation, run vibration and environmental tests, and configure advanced test setups for high-precision hardware.

You will ensure data integrity and document outcomes to support critical engineering decisions and product quality. You will collaborate with validation leads and leverage DMMs, oscilloscopes, and power supplies while following industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years in a product validation or test lab environment.
• Hands-on diagnosis and repair of electro-mechanical systems using DMMs, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
• Strong documentation and ability to execute complex DVP&Rs with careful attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory validation activities with vibration and environmental tests per industry standards.
• Configure and maintain complex test setups, build harnesses and lab infrastructure.
• Ensure accurate documentation of test outcomes to support engineering conclusions and problem solving.
• Drive Jira workflow discipline and real-time visibility into hardware validation cycles.
