Job summary

ZT Systems in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Mechanical Validation Engineer to contribute to mechanical platform hardware validation of server platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans that verify hardware functionality, meet mechanical specs, and align with product requirements.

You will aid in debugging, identify root causes, document results, and support automation efforts for validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2+ years of working knowledge in systems in a mechanically focused test or validation setting.
• Ability to aid in scripting for testing and debugging purposes.
• Ability to provide clear report findings.

Responsibilities

• Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering process.
• Aid in test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies.
• Efficiently execute test plans to meet time-to-market requirements.
• Understand how systems work and identify defects and issues.
• Describes test procedures and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Track and summarize test results and collaborate in automation efforts for validation.
