Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. seeks a senior design verification engineer in Redmond, WA to drive test plans and procedures for high-volume consumer electronics. You will perform functional, stress, and system tests, identify tooling needs, and participate in design reviews.

Qualifications

BS, MS or PhD in EE required and/or 10–15 years of relevant experience.
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals.
Knowledge of Visual Basic or C/C++.
Demonstrates ownership of multiple subsystems and/or a complete simple product.
Hands-on experience with high-volume consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

Design verification activities to design quality into products.
Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
Perform functional, stress, system, and other types of testing.
Identify test tool requirements and participate in reviews of specifications and design.
Execute tests with little to no supervision.
Find complex bugs, perform root cause analysis and track issues with thorough documentation.
