Job summary

Comcast Corp. seeks a QA Engineer II to independently plan and execute hardware testing for our network devices. You will develop test plans, operate test stations, and validate results with Engineering, documenting findings for ongoing improvements.

The role focuses on testing cable modems, set-top boxes, and RF components, with a strong emphasis on industry-standard certifications and test records. On-site collaboration is typical, with occasional remote options as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical circuits and RF.
• Engineering degree or relevant experience.
• Experience with test equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to learn in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute physical and environmental testing of hardware for Comcast network.
• Execute existing test plans.
• Interface with Network Engineering to maintain test bed integrity.
• Certify tests to SCTE, CableLabs, IEEE, MIL, Telcordia, ASTM, IEC.
• Maintain records of tests and certifications.
• Communicate status to team.
