Job summary

Comcast is seeking an Engineer 2 in Quality Assurance to independently plan and execute hardware testing for deployment in the Comcast network. You will develop and run test plans, operate test stations, validate results, and refine methods in collaboration with QA and Engineering teams.

The role requires familiarity with electrical circuits and RF, and the ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, fast learner ready to work in hardware testing.
• Experience with electrical circuits and radio frequency.
• Engineering degree or relevant experience.
• Experience with test equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Executes physical and environmental testing of hardware for deployment.
• Executes existing test plans.
• Interfaces with Network Engineering to maintain test bed integrity.
• Tests and certifies to industry standards (SCTE, CableLabs, IEEE, MIL, etc.).
• Maintains records and communicates progress to stakeholders.
