Job summary

Hot Jobs - Honey Dubey is seeking an engineer to perform hardware triage and develop diagnostic tools for PC and server platforms. You will work in a lab environment with motherboards and GPUs, supporting diagnostics and validation in the NPI cycle.

The role requires strong Python and Shell scripting, experience with Windows and Linux, and knowledge of hardware protocols (Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI). Collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong Python and Shell scripting skills.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments.
Working knowledge of Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe.
Experience with USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI.
Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
Proficient in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Linux or scripting experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for PCs and server platforms.
Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for early hardware validation and fault isolation.
Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
Develop test automation using Shell and Python scripting.
Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments.
Work with systems connected by networking protocols including Ethernet, Infiniband and PCIe.
Operate in Windows and Linux operating systems for test and debug tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diagnostics, validation, and smooth product transitions in the NPI cycle.
