Job summary

Revel is seeking a Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer to design, build, and scale HIL systems that power our CI/CD testing for critical hardware software. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to grow into a high-impact discipline and contribute to reliable, scalable infrastructure.

You will work with Python scripting, expand infrastructure, and learn embedded testing environments, Linux administration, and data acquisition topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in a software engineering role.
• Foundational experience with Python, particularly in scripting or automation.
• Eagerness to learn server infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and embedded testing environments.

• Any exposure to Rust is a strong plus.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 – $161,000. Actual compensation will depend on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. Revel is committed to paying fairly and competitively — the posted range reflects what we genuinely expect to pay for this role.

We're building something that doesn't exist yet, and the people who help us get there matter more than a job level. If your experience meaningfully exceeds the scope of this role, we're open to calibrating the position and the compensation accordingly.
