Hardware Technician - TS/SCI w/ FS Poly Required

Sound Engineering Solutions is seeking a Hardware Technician for a full-time role in Columbia, MD. The position offers a total compensation range of $53,665 - $61,830 per year, including a company-funded health, dental, and vision insurance plan, 3 weeks PTO, 11 government holidays, and a sign-on bonus during the festive season.

Active & Current TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly is REQUIRED!!!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 2 and 3 on-site and remote support for computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Conduct site surveys, assess, and document current site configurations and user requirements.
• Analyze requirements and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Develop engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages.
• Configure hardware, build specialized interconnecting cables, and train personnel in hardware use.
• Maintain fiber optic equipment and update technical drawings using AutoCAD.

Requirements:

• Active & Current TS/SCI Full Scope Poly Clearance.
• High school diploma or GED, 0-2 years of experience, and 8570 Certification (Security+ preferred). An AA or BS in a technical field may substitute experience.
• Skills in hardware installation, troubleshooting, and Windows OS (7 & 10).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Ability to manage time, work independently, and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to drive and lift 50 lbs, with availability for an 8-hour shift between 6 am and 6 pm.
