Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our R&D team in San Jose, California. This role will oversee the technical program management function, ensuring successful program execution and process improvement across organizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years as Technical Program Manager with hardware focus.
  • Proven track record delivering complex hardware products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of core hardware products and platforms for next-generation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead to resolve datacenter level issues at production sites and partner sites.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end program plans, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of programs.
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
  • Implement effective escalation protocols and schedule recovery efforts, including communications and resource allocation.
  • Articulate technology, requirements, goals, and milestones of the team.
  • Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program statuses, and address setbacks.
  • Ensure balance of cost versus benefit to meet priority partner and customer needs.
