Job summary

Raytheon, located at Andrews AFB, Maryland, seeks a highly capable professional for a 24/7 operations role. You will operate and maintain complex software and hardware systems, and you will identify anomalies and coordinate corrective actions with teammates.

The position requires a STEM bachelor’s, SATCOM/IT/RF experience, and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. Onsite work with rotating day/night shifts and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with SATCOM, IT systems, or RF test equipment.
• Ability to assign tasks to support technical goals.
• Proven ability to solve problems in time-sensitive situations.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain complex software and hardware systems.
• Identify, document, and upscale anomalous performance; work with teammates on corrective actions.
• Cross-train in additional areas and train other team members.
• Support test and operational activities as needed.
• Work in elevated heights when required and safely lift up to 40 lbs.
• Operate in a 24/7 environment with rotating day and night shifts.

Requirements

Must have:

• We require a bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, preferably with a STEM focus, plus at least 2 years of engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• We need experience in SATCOM, IT systems, and/or RF test equipment.
• We look for experience assigning tasks to support technical goals.
• We require proven ability to solve problems in time-sensitive situations.
• We require an active and transferable TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly and U.S. citizenship prior to start date, as the role requires eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.
• We prefer SATCOM operations and maintenance experience in military, defense contractor, or commercial environments.
• We prefer experience with Windows and Linux.
• We prefer familiarity with SATCOM facility support systems such as power, HVAC, and intrusion detection systems.
• We prefer CompTIA Security+ certification or higher.
• We prefer COMSEC experience.
