Hardware System Integration Electrical Engineer - Mac
Location: Cupertino, California, United States
Apple is seeking a System EE for iMac electrical & system design integration. The candidate will design, implement, test, and debug the electrical subsystem of all-in-one computers within a collaborative cross-functional team, working with mechanical engineering, software, silicon engineering, and other module teams such as wireless, camera, sensing, and display. Our engineers rely on skills in system architecture, schematic design, circuits, power regulation, high-speed signals, PCB design, and troubleshooting to delight customers!
Daily tasks include electrical design (schematic capture and PCB layout), simulation, bring-up, debug, and validation for Macs. Responsibilities involve schematic capture, coordinating multilayer PCB layouts including HDI and fine pitch BGAs, and supporting factory build and validation. We seek candidates with broad skills, curiosity, and the desire to grow or specialize in various technology areas.
