Job summary

Normal Computing is seeking a Hardware System Design Engineer to own end‑to‑end system architecture for AI compute hardware. You will drive decisions across boards, chassis, interconnects, and rack-scale designs, working with hardware, software, and partner teams to meet performance goals.

You will define requirements, review architectures with ODMs and suppliers, and lead bring‑up, validation, and deployment of scalable AI compute systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing complex compute hardware systems.
• Experience with server or rack-scale platforms and bring-up.
• Ability to collaborate with ODMs and suppliers to drive technical issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware system architecture from initial concept through deployment.
• Translate workload requirements into hardware decisions with cross-functional teams.
• Define bring-up, validation, and qualification strategy for rack-scale platforms.
