Job summary

Plaza Motors, a part of MileOne Autogroup, is expanding our internal IT team and now hiring a part time IT Hardware Support Technician. The Hardware Support Technician will work independently and within a team to complete daily tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment.

This candidate will be responsible for providing IT software support, hardware installation and hardware maintenance both on the phone and do on-site for our end users.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Information Technology (IT) field service experience.
• Thorough knowledge of hardware products and software capabilities; Apple products preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of Internet protocols, access methods, and equipment
• Must be self-motivated and self-directed
• Must be willing to answer calls after normal working hours
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer & phone equipment, including site preparation
• Install and configure network and printer devices
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, upgrades and ongoing support for PC hardware
• Review and maintain current virus protection updates during onsite visits
• Perform diagnostics, repair and ongoing support for software including MAC, Windows 10 desktops, Unix, Linux, Terminal Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and manufacturer web portals
• Assist in managing administrative tasks such as physical inventory of hardware and software license compliance
• Cell phone and other various Telecom support, training, installation
• Escalate to Tier 2 as needed

Plaza Motors, a part of MileOne Autogroup, is expanding our internal IT team and now hiring a part time IT Hardware Support Technician. The Hardware Support Technician will be working both independently and within a team to complete daily tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment. This candidate will be responsible for providing IT software support, hardware installation and hardware maintenance both on the phone and do on-site for our end users. The position will be responsible for supporting our dealership/retail and corporate locations in and around St. Louis. All travel will be compensated for. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week - you pick what that schedule would be! Compensation: $20 - $24/hr

Essential Duties
