Job summary

Plaza Motors, a part of MileOne Autogroup, is expanding its internal IT team and hiring a part time IT Hardware Support Technician. The role covers hardware installation, software support, and on-site service for dealership, retail and corporate locations around St. Louis.

Schedule is 20 hours per week, you choose the hours; compensation is $20–$24 per hour. Travel is compensated. Prior IT field service experience and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years IT field service experience.
• Strong hardware knowledge; Apple products preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and AD/Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer and phone equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, upgrade, and support PC hardware.
• Manage software including MAC/Windows desktops, Unix/Linux, AD, Exchange.
• Maintain antivirus updates during onsite visits.
• Assist in inventory and software license compliance.
• Provide telecom support and training; escalate Tier 2 as needed.

Job DescriptionPlaza Motors, a part of MileOne Autogroup, is expanding our internal IT team and now hiring a part time IT Hardware Support Technician.The Hardware Support Technician will be working both independently and within a team to complete daily tasks in a fast paced, high volume environment. This candidate will be responsible for providing IT software support, hardware installation and hardware maintenance both on the phone and do on-site for our end users.The position will be responsible for supporting our dealership/retail and corporate locations in and around St. Louis.
