Job summary

Ideal Software Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end hardware sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely project execution.

The ideal candidate will manage procurement, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and hardware services, while improving processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and basic networking.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate orders to determine hardware requirements and fulfillment needs.
• Source and procure equipment aligned with project timelines and cost targets.
• Develop relationships with vendors for pricing and availability.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels for deployment readiness.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.
• Collaborate with technical teams on installation schedules and planning.
• Generate quotes and purchase orders in the accounting system.
• Coordinate with Accounting for billing and vendor payments.
• Maintain data entry for inventory movement and order tracking.
• Coordinate returns, warranty claims, and repairs.
• Assist with hardware testing and basic repairs as needed.
• Communicate order status and service updates to customers.
• Supervise one operations clerk and provide guidance.
• Manage procurement and logistics for payment devices.
• Conduct hardware installation meetings.
• Oversee facilities maintenance to ensure a safe work environment.
