Job summary

Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) is seeking a Hardware/Software Field Service Technician to support the DoS INL/A mission, including OCONUS assignments in the VA area. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and network issues, providing local and remote end-user support, and performing desktop imaging and device maintenance.

Requirements include a minimum of 4 years’ experience and a secret clearance; IT certifications (Network+, Security+, A+) are preferred but not

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Windows operating systems in diverse environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows Server, infrastructure management, PowerShell scripting, and Linux administration.
  • Hands-on experience with SCCM, OS management, DNS, SAN, group policy, DHCP, and Microsoft Windows technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and network issues including video cards, desktops/laptops, cabling and printers.
  • Provide local and remote Technical Support Services for end users.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems with desktop systems, printers, mobile devices, and other office equipment.
  • Complete basic hardware work such as cable management, desk PC installation, monitors, KVMs, and imaging.
  • Maintain SOPs and assist with ticket validation and escalation as needed.

Summary

We deliver essential technology services to our customers in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interests of our nation. SecuriGence is seeking a Hardware / Software Field Service Technician to support the Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation (INL/A). Help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and network issues including video cards, desktop/laptop issues, cabling and physical layer networking issues, and printer troubleshooting and/or maintenance.
  • Provide local and remote Technical Support Services for end users.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems with desktop systems, printers, digital senders, mobile devices, and other standard office equipment.
  • Complete basic hardware work as directed, such as cable management, desktop PC installation, monitors, KVM's, and laptop imaging and issuance.
  • Provide input and update to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct validation of ticket information to ensure completeness and accuracy and elevate issues via the ticketing system and request for assistance as needed.
  • Participate in/lead special projects and day ‐ to ‐ day operations.
  • Consistently remain customer‑focused and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Interact daily with supervisor, peers, and customers and provide polite and friendly customer service.
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks aligned with established standards, Policies, and procedures.
  • May provide leadership to small teams or team members.
  • Experience with satellite communications systems such as Starlink
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet mission and customer needs.
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience with Windows operating systems, demonstrating versatility in managing diverse environments.

  • Hands‑on experience with SCCM, OS management, DNS, SAN, group policy, DHCP, and Microsoft Windows technologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years' experience.
  • Secret clearance
  • IT certifications preferred but not mandatory (ie. Network+, Security+, A+, CYSA+)
