Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Graduate Hardware Security Engineer Intern to join the Cyber and Mission Technology Department. The internship is full-time and onsite at either El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA.

You will contribute to hardware security research, threat modeling, and mitigation guidance for national security space systems, while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and gaining mentorship from experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related program.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Directly contribute to hardware security research, development, and applications for National Security Space Systems.
• Define threat paths and develop guidance on FPGA/ASIC/embedded systems vulnerability mitigations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug hardware and firmware issues.
