Job summary

Entegris is hiring an Engineer II, SCRUM Master/Project Planner for our Engineering team in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies, help breakdown tasks, and manage sprint backlogs with leadership alignment.

You will track velocity, ensure realistic capacity planning, and deliver real-time sprint reporting using Jira and PowerBI. A hardware/manufacturing background is strongly preferred and strong stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Manager.
• Experience applying Agile/Scrum in hardware/manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies tailored to workflow, aligning stakeholders.
• Break down tasks into granular, trackable hours for capacity planning.
• Review rolled-over tasks, finalize a realistic sprint backlog.
• Track velocity and capacity, prevent overcommitment.
• Prioritize urgent customer needs with leadership and external stakeholders.
• Establish visible reporting with Jira and PowerBI.
• Provide leadership with real-time sprint health updates.
• Bridge gap between engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead retrospectives to identify improvements.
• Coordinate Agile/Scrum training to raise maturity.
• Identify bottlenecks in hardware design and implement improvements.
• Create healthy safe work environment.
