You will handle counter sales, price lookups, special orders, inventory tasks, and assist with loading purchases. Must have strong math and communication skills; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales or customer service is required.
• Strong math, reading, writing and speaking skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and determine their needs; provide product recommendations.
• Direct customers to appropriate hardware products and explain features/usages.
• Maintain product knowledge and assist with installation guidance as needed.
• Perform sales counter tasks: order entry, price lookups, and special orders.
• Handle telephone inquiries courteously and provide information requested.
• Stock shelves, merchandise products, and assist with inventory checks.
• Prepare and process sales orders; ensure accuracy with suppliers.
• Assist customers loading purchases and ensure safe handling of items.
