You will greet customers, demonstrate products, manage inventory, and maintain appealing displays while building relationships to drive repeat business.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years hardware sales experience, excellent service skills, and the ability to meet targets; ESOP and health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years hardware sales experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to manage and build relationships.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed goals.
• Advanced skills in communicating, selling and negotiating.
• Knowledgeable of Ganahl Lumber products and policies.
• Ability to operate available store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Customer service – greet customers, initiate conversations, answer questions and recommend merchandise.
• Demonstrate, promote, and sell Ganahl’s products and services.
• Merchandising – create visually-pleasing merchandise displays.
• Inventory, stocking and maintenance – ensure products are available and priced correctly.
• Develop and foster relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers to promote retention.
• Meet and exceed sales targets for new and existing customers.
