Job summary

Centro Escolar University in Sunnyvale, CA invites motivated students pursuing Electrical or Computer Engineering to join our hardware R&D internship. You will support senior engineers on technical projects, troubleshoot issues, and gain hands-on lab experience with PCIe, Ethernet, and FPGA work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Solid experience with electrical circuit design and schematic capture.
• Proficiency in digital logic, CPU subsystems, clocks, signal integrity, power delivery and analog components.
• Experience with board design layout and multi-layer boards.
• Strong teamwork beyond coursework.
• Hands-on testing with Ethernet packet generators on L2/L3 products.
• Strong debugging skills and curiosity about hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members on assigned technical projects in hardware R&D.
• Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues in the lab and in the field.
• Provide hands-on lab support for hardware quality initiatives and propose solutions.
• Interface with cross-functional teams during the product development cycle.
• Engage in learning about new technologies and methodologies relevant to work.
• Fulfill tasks assigned by a supervisor timely and efficiently.
• Participate in periodic reviews to share updates and incorporate feedback.
