Job summary

Emporia Energy is seeking an experienced Hardware Quality Engineer to lead quality and supplier coordination across contract manufacturers. Based onsite in Littleton, CO, you will drive audits, corrective actions, and compliance to ensure products meet specifications and support supply continuity.

You will own RMA/warranty analysis, develop supplier scorecards, and partner with Engineering, Planning, and Compliance on continuous improvements while traveling internationally up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing & Operations Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in quality, supply chain, or operations in consumer electronics or regulated environments.
• Ability to travel internationally up to ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute contract manufacturer factory audits and product quality audits; develop corrective action plans and track resolution to closure.
• Own RMA and warranty process end-to-end; analyze data, identify failure modes, implement corrective actions, report trends to leadership.
• Partner with compliance to meet UL/regulatory standards; manage audit schedules and remediation activities.
• Review production drawings, BOMs, datasheets, and manufacturing documents for accuracy before release.
