Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a Quality Engineer with 3-5+ years in hardware manufacturing to lead quality initiatives across compute systems and consumer electronics. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, ISO9001/ESD experience, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and engineering teams.

ASQ CQE certification and Six Sigma are preferred. Proficiency in data tools (JMP, R, Excel) and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering or equivalent through experience.
• 3-5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in Compute system/ Server/Consumer Electronics /Hardware manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing Quality audits and Quality KPIs management.
• 5+ years of problem solving methodologies (Ishikawa, FMEA, SCAR, 5 Why, 8D, Pareto, MIL…) and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
• Experience with ESD standards (ANSI S20.20), ISO9001 certification, Quality Management System process compliance.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration on defining quality SOPs, PCNs, Work Instructions etc.
• ASQ CQE certification, Six Sigma preferred.
• Basic Project Management skills.
• Proficiency with Office tools and data analysis tools (JMP, R, Excel).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations and engineering), representing the Quality function.
• Understand TS1 to MP (Proto to Mass production understanding the flow).
• SCAR and 5Why Structure problem solving.
• Able to Present data in a PPT.
