Job summary

Corvus Robotics seeks a hands-on QA Manager to own the quality, configuration, and shipout of every hardware unit manufactured. You will test devices on the floor, debug issues, build test scripts and fixtures, and ensure units meet high quality before leaving the facility.

You will collaborate with technicians, engineering, and operations to keep production moving while maintaining strict quality standards. Startup experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years direct hardware experience (design, test, debug, assemble, or integrate).
• Hands-on robotics hardware experience (sensors, actuators, controllers, or full systems).
• Familiarity with software tools (Git) and AI development tools (Claude Code or Codex).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines in fast-paced production.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, engineering, and operations to keep production moving.
• Prior startup experience and comfort with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats.

Responsibilities

• Configure manufactured devices for deployment with correct settings, firmware, and calibration.
• Test hardware to verify functional and quality specifications before shipment.
• Debug hardware and firmware issues with engineers to reach root cause and resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test scripts to improve QA coverage and speed.
• Design and build test fixtures to enable efficient, reliable testing.
• Manage shipout end-to-end with manufacturing to prepare, package, document, and dispatch units on schedule.
• Serve as the last line of defense on quality for every client.
