Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking a senior HW Product Development Lead in Auburn Hills, MI to drive cross‑functional teams through development, validation, and industrialization. You will own multiple releases and ensure lifecycle maturity across products, guiding technical decisions for change control and management escalation.

You will plan work packages and releases, interface with sample builds, and release engineering documentation to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a global team environment.
• Experience in requirements engineering/management processes.
• Willingness to learn and work with new technologies and systems.
• Engineering analysis/analytical ability.
• Project planning and leadership skills.
• General knowledge of electronic sensors/modules/systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams to meet technical product targets and schedule, including development, test, validation and industrialization.
• Own multiple product releases into production.
• Drive cross-functional/product teams to hit project targets on time.
• Ensure product maturity over lifecycle for multiple products.
• Prepare technical decision options for the change control board and management escalation.
• Plan technical work packages (content/schedule/quality) aligned to the project schedule.
• Plan and execute product/system releases per defined schedule.
• Interface for successful sample builds and industrialization targets.
• Release engineering documentation to manufacturing plants for sample builds.
• Oversee sample planning and engineering build management.
• Understand domain team requirements, milestones, and technology relevance.

The main job responsibilities will be:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor'sof Science degree in Engineering or related field
• A minimum 8yearsofexperience
• Excellent communication,team work, problemsolvingand presentation skills.
• Be able to work in global team environment
• Experience in requirements engineering/management process
• Able to learn to work withnew technologiesand systems
• Engineering analysis/analytical ability
• Project Planning and Leadership skills.
• General knowledge of electronic sensor/module/systems
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in the use of written and spoken English, with a focus on technical topics.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Certification (PMI)
• 5 years of experience as Team Leaderor Project Manager
• Experience with FMEA methods and tools (such as APIS IQ FMEA)
• Experience in root cause and DFSS techniques (is-is not, 5-why, DMAIC, 8D, 5-penny, fishbone/fault-tree analysis)
