Job summary

Agility Robotics in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Buyer to support day-to-day procurement across mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical commodities. You will manage purchase orders, supplier communications, delivery tracking, and ERP updates to ensure materials are available for engineering builds and production.

This role partners with Global Supply Managers, Planning, Engineering, and Finance to execute purchasing accurately in a fast-paced hardware environment that rewards responsiveness,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing.
• Experience with suppliers in manufacturing or hardware environments.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase order creation and updates with accurate pricing, lead times, MOQs, and delivery commitments.
• Communicate with suppliers on acknowledgements, shipment schedules, and status.
• Track open orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain procurement and supplier data in ERP systems.
• Support shortage management, RFQ activities, and supplier onboarding.
• Coordinate with Planning and Engineering for prototypes and production builds.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier-related issues.
• Provide timely updates on material status and supplier commitments.
