Job summary

Akraya, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager / NPI Program Manager to lead the development, manufacturing, and launch of X86 hardware appliances in partnership with global contract manufacturers.

You will coordinate Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Compliance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to drive products from development through production ramp and post-launch qualification.

Qualifications

8+ years in hardware development, NPI or technical program management.
Proven cross-functional NPI leadership for X86 hardware or complex computing products.
Strong PCBA, hardware validation, DFM, DFA, and DFT knowledge.
Experience with contract manufacturers, supply chain, and BOM management.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end NPI programs for X86 hardware platforms with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Compliance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
Develop and manage hardware development, prototyping, validation, integration, and production schedules aligned with software milestones.
Drive hardware validation, product characterization, and DFM/DFA/DFT activities while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
Establish phase-gate release criteria, track readiness, identify risks, and drive corrective actions through launch.
Partner with global contract manufacturers and suppliers to manage manufacturing readiness, PCB fabrication/assembly, and BOM traceability.
Drive cost optimization, multi-sourcing, ECO implementation, and supplier negotiations.
