Job summary

Etched is seeking a Manufacturing Design Program Manager to drive manufacturing readiness across new product introduction and mass production for transformer-specific AI systems. This highly cross-functional IC sits at the intersection of design engineering, test engineering, SMT, FATP, supply chain, and operations.

You will lead manufacturing execution from early DFM reviews through production ramp. You will own readiness, coordinate prototype through PVT and mass production, partner with

Qualifications

• 7+ years hardware engineering with TPM/PM transition.
• Leaded hardware programs through NPI and production.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and ODM/OEM operations.
• Excellent cross-functional program management and communication.
• Willingness to work in-person in San Jose and travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing readiness across NPI and mass production with cross-functional partners.
• Lead DFM reviews across assemblies and identify manufacturability risks.
• Own readiness, track build readiness, yield, schedule and risks.
• Coordinate prototype to production builds to keep milestones.
• Partner with contract manufacturers and supply chain on production plans.
• Drive issue resolution through root cause analysis and coordination.
• Monitor KPIs like yield, cycle time, quality, and readiness; drive improvements.
• Communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
• Collaborate with design to embed manufacturing considerations.
• Travel to domestic and international manufacturing partners as needed.
