Job summary

Super Micro Computer is seeking a System Repair and Test Technician to handle final testing of Supermicro and OEM RMA products, including ECO and BIOS upgrades. The role emphasizes inventory coordination, precise testing, and collaboration across teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The position requires strong PC/system knowledge, attention to detail, and hands-on testing expertise. Regular in-office presence is expected to support team collaboration and on-site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with inventory management software is a plus.
• Good soldering and de-soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Track inbound and outbound inventory to monitor flow and stock levels.
• Reconcile inventory to ensure counts match physical stock.
• Set ideal reorder points for stock based on usage, vendor delivery times, and seasonality.
• Generate and interpret sales reports and trends to predict inventory needs.
• Reorder stock according to PAR levels or company requests.
• Apply inventory control methods (e.g., JIT, FIFO) to operations.
• Communicate with employees and vendors to answer questions and facilitate purchases.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing and logistics to align inventory with operations.
