Job summary

Super Micro Computer is seeking a System Repair and Test Technician in San Jose, CA. You will finalize testing of Supermicro and OEM RMA products, perform ECO and BIOS upgrades, and ensure quality through detailed procedures and careful calibration.

The ideal candidate has a technical certificate or degree, 1+ year test tech experience, and strong skills in circuit analysis, soldering, and troubleshooting. In-office attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Technical/college degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience as a test technician preferred.
• Proficiency in Windows or Linux.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate Supermicro/OEM RMA products and final assemblies.
• Follow drawings and written/verbal instructions to complete work.
• Determine job status and close work orders as needed.
• Assess material status of jobs.
• Reference procedures, drawings, and specs for changes.
• Locate job materials in the calibration area.
• Perform ECO upgrades.
• Report defective parts to RMA Repair Database.
• Provide onsite customer support as needed.
• GPU skills knowledge is a plus.
