Lockheed Martin is seeking a Hardware in the Loop Systems Integration Engineer in Colorado to develop HWIL architectures, generate high-fidelity models, and integrate subsystem simulations. You will produce interface control documents and design verification test plans to ensure mission-ready systems.

• Active and Current Secret Clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (M.S. preferred).
• ≥5years of hands‑on HWIL or high-fidelity modeling & simulation work on missile, aerospace, or defense programs.
• Experience with real-time operating systems and target hardware
• Active and Current Secret Clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills

• 5-to-10-year experience developing HWIL simulators for Missile or Spacecraft Programs
• High-fidelity system modeling (MATLAB/Simulink, STK, C/C++, Python)
• Experience with automated test scripting such as Automation Framework
• Experience with Fault-injection Design
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00
