Google Cloud is seeking a Technical Lead in Hardware Engineering in Sunnyvale, CA to guide end-to-end hardware programs for data centers. You will mentor a cross-disciplinary team and shape strategic technical direction across electrical, mechanical, firmware, software, and thermal domains.

Lead initiatives from concept to deployment, navigating ambiguity with data-driven decision making, and partner with internal teams and vendors to deliver high-value solutions that scale globally.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in a hardware systems development environment.
• Experience in full product life cycle from design through deployment.
• Experience with data center equipment development.

Responsabilidades

• Define strategic goal and provide technical leadership within the Hardware Engineering team to identify, scope, and deliver high-value innovations for Google data centers.
• Mentor and inspire an engineering team, driving technical excellence, strategic resource alignment, and individual career growth.
• Navigate highly complex, ambiguous engineering challenges and advocate data-motivated risk management across hardware domains.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional Google teams and external vendors to streamline technical analysis, problem-solving, and program execution.
• Communicate technical roadmaps and strategic recommendations effectively to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
