Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are vital.

Job Description

The Hardware Engineering Manager will work on the development of next generation metrology systems with a group of mechatronics and systems engineers as part of the Hardware Engineering organization. The candidate will interface with multifunctional groups to ensure the smooth development and deployment of new product solutions and capabilities, support ongoing product improvements as well as new platform developments.

Requirements

• Experienced in high-precision stages, material transport and opto-mechanics.
• Familiar with clean vacuum practices such as surface preparations, material use and cleaning protocols.
• Familiar with mechanical design best practices for charge particle and x-ray optics.
• Critical, scientific thinking with good intuition toward practical solutions and problem solving.
• Ability to present in a concise manner to a larger audience.
• Follow good design practices in engineering development process.

Education / Experience
