Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (completed or nearly complete).
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for editing models and sizing.
• Hands-on experience with FDM and SLA 3D printing.
• Precise hand-assembly of small parts and attention to detail.
• Strong documentation practices and SOP development.

Responsibilities

• Update and resize 3D models in SolidWorks for various sizes.
• 3D print components using FDM and SLA printers and post-process.
• Fabricate and machine components as needed; assemble into subassemblies.
• Assemble devices with sensors and wiring; test on benchtop systems.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures; execute test protocols and log results.
• Maintain build/test records and assist root-cause investigations.
