Job summary

Google is seeking a Hardware Engineering Intern for the Platforms Infrastructure Engineering team. The internship targets PhD students in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science and offers hands-on work in hardware design, validation, and system integration for Google data centers.

Locations include Mountain View, Ann Arbor, and other US campuses. This internship requires US residency for the duration and English proficiency for collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Penultimate year or returning to degree program after internship.
• Available to work full-time for 12 weeks outside university term time.
