Job summary

X-Bow Launch Systems Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, qualification, and manufacture of safety-critical hardware for rocket motors, ISDs, ESADs, and fuzes.

You will verify requirements, conduct reliability and risk analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance across the lifecycle. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams, develop prototypes, oversee testing, and ensure traceability from design to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering with EE experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in product/hardware development, testing, and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of reliability, risk analysis, and safety-critical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, qualification, and manufacturing of safety-critical hardware.
• Verify requirements to meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards per USG boards.
• Document design processes, test results, and regulatory traceability.
• Perform detailed analyses to inform system-level design decisions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers for integration.
• Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate performance and compliance.
• Manage transition from design to manufacturing with quality-focused processes.
