Job summary

Dell Technologies in Austin is seeking a Hardware Engineer 1 for the CSG Engineering Rotation Program. You will contribute to the design and development of notebooks and desktops, exploring new technologies from concept to customer-ready hardware.

You will rotate through three 12‑month assignments across product lines, gaining breadth in engineering while delivering impactful hardware solutions and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in Computer, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date of December 2025, May 2026 or December 2026.
  • Ability to build, repair and prepare assemblies across product lines.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work in a self‑directed environment, seek new opportunities, delivers on commitments.
  • Have a strong desire to develop technology products.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the future of Dell Client Products by contributing directly to the design and development of notebooks and desktops.
  • Bring new technologies to life by researching, prototyping, and developing key innovations from concept to customer-ready hardware.
  • Build real engineering expertise across multiple disciplines through three rotations exposing you to different projects and challenges.
  • Own meaningful work from day one across product launches, platform enhancements, and cost-driven design trade-offs.
