Job summary

Focus in Nashville is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join our hardware development and testing team. You will oversee testing and debug environments, assist in identifying hardware issues, and coordinate with HQ and vendors to deliver products on time.

The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, PCB rework, oscilloscope and multimeter usage, and signal analysis. Direct manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of hardware troubleshooting and PCB rework.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze signals and debug hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers to solve engineering issues.
  • Set up hardware testing and debug environment.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to find root causes.
  • Support the manufacturing debug team with troubleshooting tasks.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and customers.
  • Measure the signal waveform and support the bring up test.
  • Operate the oscilloscope and Digital multi-meter.
  • Solder wire and rework PCB board.
