Job summary

KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems division seeks a Hardware Engineer in Huntsville to support the LTI Product Office. You will review requirements, qualification plans, and participate in major reviews to ensure hardware meets or exceeds requirements across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include supporting IPTs, assisting in SRR/PDR/CDR, and developing actions for obsolescence mitigation while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a security-clearance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Systems) with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • Master’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • PhD in lieu of relevant experience.
  • Experience with hardware technical data packages and hardware integration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Active security clearance and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Hardware Engineer SME supporting LTI Systems Engineering for PATRIOT Launcher and GEM-T Missile Programs.
  • Provide technical support at IPT meetings, TIMs, and working groups.
  • Support System Engineering reviews: SRR, PDR, and CDR.
  • Ensure qualification test plans adequately test hardware against system requirements.
  • Review ECPs and RFCs to validate TDP changes are accurate.
  • Research and develop Courses of Action for obsolescence mitigation and decision support.
