Job summary

Rockwell Automation, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineering Intern/Co-op in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. You will contribute to hardware development from circuit design to verification, while learning to use industry tools and work within an agile team.

The role runs full-time from June through December 2027. You must be pursuing a degree and be eligible to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not provided. This internship includes benefits and prepares you for a career in hardware engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this internship.
• Preferred: previous co-op/intern experience in Hardware Development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on an agile team to design electrical circuits and develop test requirements.
• Perform programming, functional analysis, and troubleshooting of hardware prototypes.
• Contribute to design documentation and test reports.
• Participate in projects researching new technologies and tools.
• Take ownership of assignments and seek help when needed.
• Build relationships with leads and peers to learn the product lifecycle.
