Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions seeks a Hardware Engineer in Fremont, CA to support testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness of servers, networking equipment, and personal computing devices. The role interacts with engineering, operations and production to ensure reliability and quality during NPI and ramp‑up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Experience involving hardware development, validation, integration, testing, or manufacturing support.
• Working knowledge of server systems, computer hardware components, and hardware diagnostic procedures.
• Understanding of PCIe, USB, and system buses.
• Hands‑on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering, rework).
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and root‑cause investigation skills.
• Ability to independently manage testing while collaborating with teams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot test stations used for hardware product validation.
• Define hardware, software, and procedures to test products under real‑world conditions.
• Execute and refine verification, functionality, performance, and scale‑testing procedures.
• Investigate hardware failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction and transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
• Translate specifications into operational procedures and provide test support during pilot builds.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting for servers, networking equipment, power systems, boards, and integrated systems.
• Produce reports documenting test results, debug findings, failure analyses, and actions.
