Job summary

PRI Global is seeking a Hardware Engineer II to support the development, validation, and delivery of innovative hardware products. The role involves working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful hardware design, testing, and deployment within project timelines.

You will perform board bring-up, write test plans, review schematics, and document results while collaborating with electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on hardware development, system bring-up and debugging experience.
• Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power supplies.
• Ability to read schematics and support hardware validation activities.
• Experience creating test procedures and documenting results.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design, board bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Develop and execute test plans, perform bench testing, and conduct root-cause analysis of hardware issues.
• Review schematics, assist with component selection, and support design verification efforts.
• Document engineering requirements, test results, design changes, and validation findings.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to achieve project milestones.
• Track technical issues, communicate risks, and provide regular status updates on assigned deliverables.
