Job summary

LG Electronics in the United States is seeking a Development Engineer II - Connectivity Module HW to advance automotive hardware and vehicle infotainment technologies. This role emphasizes hardware development, APQP collaboration with OEMs, and cross-functional teamwork with LG’s global teams.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and at least 3 years of automotive hardware experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive, service-minded attitude to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years automotive experience.
• Experience managing multiple technical projects.
• Knowledge of Vehicle Infotainment and Telematics.
• Hardware development skills including schematic design and PCB layout.
• Collaborates across disciplines (SiriusXM, CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, WiFi).

Responsibilities

• Resolve hardware issues and communicate with the customer.
• Manage OEM design requests, develop APQP and coordinate with 3rd party solutions.
• Publish weekly development progress reports.
• Support cross-functional teams Validation, Manufacturing, Sales and Quality.
• Coordinate with LG HQ cross-functional teams for programs.
• Lead and coordinate with program management, validation and quality teams.
• Release weekly development progress reports to customer engineers.
• Work on Vehicle Infotainment and Telematics features and vehicle interface tech.
