Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group invites an experienced hardware engineer to design electronic circuits and schematics in Altium Designer. The role emphasizes embedded PCB layout and rigorous testing of BMU and CSU boards.

You will build test fixtures, support EMI/EMC validation, and work with cross-functional teams to translate specifications into robust hardware, while applying DFMEA and systematic debugging methods.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electronic circuits and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electronics components and their functions.
• Experience with circuit testing and debugging.
• Ability to design hardware considering DFMEA and environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate electronic circuit schematics in Altium Designer.
• Lead embedded PCB layout design for hardware boards.
• Perform engineering verification testing of BMU and CSU boards.
• Prepare test fixtures and pre-validation test setups.
• Develop EMI/EMC test setups and support validation.
• Review specifications to design hardware and write test plans.
• Analyze circuits and perform DFMEAs considering operation and environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Job description

• Generate electronic circuit Schematics in Altium Designer
• High degree of experience in embedded PCB layout design using Altium Designer.
• Engineering verification testing of BMU and CSU board. Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and their function. Experienced using electronics measurement equipment to perform circuit testing, troubleshooting and debug.
• Support in the preparation to Test Fixture and Pre-Validation of the Hardware. Building of test equipment and wire harnessing to be used in testing.
• Support in the preparation of EMI/EMC validation of the hardware. Developing test equipment and set ups to be used in EMC testing.
• Voltage compatibility (In house VDA320). Performing voltage transient testing on BMS units.
• Reviewing specification and requirements to design hardware, write and execute test plans, and perform analysis.
• Experience performing detailed circuit analysis and DFMEAs considering operational and environmental parameters.
• Experience working with cross functional engineering teams and suppliers.
• Experienced in problems solving of complex problems using of industry standard techniques
