Job summary

Notre Dame seeks motivated undergraduates or early master's students to join its hardware team in Corvallis. You will develop UEFI/BIOS code for HP workstations, troubleshoot complex issues, and collect data to train AI models.

Ideal candidates are in the 3rd year or 1st year of a master’s program in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related fields, with strong electronics, embedded systems, and FPGA basics. US work eligibility in 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• Completed 3rd year of university or 1st year of master's, typically in a technical degree specialization.
• Eligible to work in the US in 2027 without requiring future work authorization sponsorship.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit analysis, electronics, PCB design, and embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop UEFI/BIOS code on HP Workstations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems.
• Gather training data for AI models.
