Job summary

Amazon is seeking an early-career electrical/ hardware engineer to design and realize next-generation industrial machinery used in materials handling. The role involves panel design, schematics, interconnection, and data management, with a focus on delivering artifacts for large-scale manufacturing.

Responsibilities include producing complete schematic packages, running design reviews, and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent.
• Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills.
• Knowledge of current industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design of power/control/data/signaling circuits to applicable local standards.
• Production of complete machinery schematics packages using industry-standard software including panel layouts, multi-line diagrams, single-line diagrams, bills of materials, connection reports, and more.
• Product data management using PLM software suite.
• Running design reviews and alignment meetings collaboratively.
